Lisa Cuddy was born May 21 1967 in New York to parents Rose & Eli Cuddy. Whilst studying her undergraduate at the University of Michigan Cuddy met Gregory House, a royal pain in the ass and a legend. After graduating second in her class and specialising in endocrinology Cuddy managed to quickly find a job. When Cuddy moved to New Jersey she'd barely managed to settle into her job before House reappeared in her life, this time as a patient. Since recommending the middle-ground surgery to Stacy, Cuddy has always felt that little bit of guilt. She's questionned to herself whether House's option would have worked, but Cuddy cared too much to want to risk his life to find out. After being promoted to Dean of Medicine Cuddy hired House, to keep an eye on him and to make sure that he didn't kill himself from either the alcohol or not looking after himself properly.

Throughout her years in medicine, and especially whilst working with House, Cuddy has faced a lot of challenges, the largest of that being trying to get pregnant. After miscarrying the previous year Cuddy has for now given upon trying to get pregnant, the waiting and hurt of each attempt too painful to bare, especially when House through her 'failings' back in Cuddy's face. Cuddy has selflessly done everything she could to protect House from whatever may be threatening his tenure and position at the hospital and despite any speculations as to other reasons Cuddy has always implicitly stated that it is because he is an asset to the hospital.

Most information has been taken from canon occurings, the unknown information made up. Anything written here is by no means affiliated with the show or Lisa Edelstein, I'm using the journal and character for my own non-profited means. I do not own the character, I'm just borrowing her for my own enjoyment and will put her back when I'm done :)

This journal is used for both roleplaying and muse writing purposes. There are currently no ongoing roleplays but if you would like to roleplay with Cuddy then ask in the first entry. Any writings will either be edited canon on my own verse, I'll state which when I write. Most writing will be up to the end of Season 4, spoilers for Season 5 will be stated.
